Antoine Cattin was born in 1975 in Saignelégier. In 2001 receives degree from the University of Lausanne (History, Cinema and Russian). Founder and editor of the journal Hors-Champ. Worked in Russia as assistant director to S. Loznitsa. Since 2004 lives in Russia and Switzerland.
